Federal Government Opens Free Upskilling Programme for 10 Million Nigerian Youths and Women

 


The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched a nationwide free upskilling programme aimed at empowering 10 million youths and women with in-demand skills for employment and entrepreneurship. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve financial inclusion, digital literacy, and economic empowerment across the country.

This programme is being implemented through the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI) under the Office of the Vice President, with support from both local and international partners.


What the FG Upskilling Programme Offers

The initiative is designed to equip Nigerians with practical, income-generating skills that are relevant in today’s digital economy. Participants will receive:
