The Folorunsho Alakija Grant for Female Entrepreneurs 2026 is now open for applications, offering one of the largest funding opportunities for women-led businesses in Nigeria. Powered by the Flourish Africa initiative, this program combines financial support, mentorship, and business training to help women scale sustainable ventures.

About the Flourish Africa Programme

The Flourish Africa Business and Life Skills Programme (Cohort 5) is a development-focused initiative founded by Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist Folorunsho Alakija. The program aims to strengthen women-led businesses through a mix of:

  • Entrepreneurship and leadership training
  • Access to funding opportunities
  • Mentorship from experienced professionals
  • A supportive network of female founders

Participants are equipped not just with capital, but also with the skills required to build long-term, scalable businesses.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Not have previously benefited from the Flourish Africa program

These criteria ensure that the grant supports women who are already building businesses and are ready to scale.
